Last May 9, the Gonzales Family went to SM Southmall to attend the pre-Mothers day event sponsored by Melaware, Urban Kitchen and Elba.
Melawares and Urban Kitchen, the leading manufacturer and distributor of tableware in the Philippines, kicks off last May 9, its “Mommy and Me” mall tour. Opening at SM Southmall, the event is a month-long celebration dedicated to honoring mothers with special treats, fun games and other exciting perks at various SM Malls.
According to Ms. Chriselda Chua, CDC Manufacturing Corp. Marketing Manager, “The Mommy and Me mall tour is something that we have been doing annually. We believe that our moms deserve the special treatment on their special day. Through Mommy and Me, we are putting back the focus to family and the value of making time to be together and enjoying your family time”.

Since summer is almost over and it will be back-to-school season soon, Chef Ara demonstrated an easy to do recipe and a refreshment which Mommies can make as their child’s baon for school.
There was also a Make your Own Disney-Inspired Kid’s meal game wherein Mommies were provided with ingredients to create their kid’s meal using Melawares and Urban Kitchen Disney products.

To make sure this moment is remembered, the Mommy-and-me selfies will be made more fun and easier at the photo booth station. What’s more, moms can also spend time at the face painting station with their kids – you can even make it more creative with matching face decor.
The fun doesn’t stop there, as Melawares will also offer discounts and perks for participants and guests. Everyone will get 10% discount on Melawares, Perfect Dining, and Urban Kitchen on the day of the mall event only.
The Mommy and Me mall tour, which will be held in partnership with ELBA Phils. , will also visit the following SM Malls: SM Mall of Asia, SM Mhegamall, SM Makati and SM City Naga.
