My family and my barkada declared BOHOLIDAY from August 21 to 25. ^_^
We took advantage of the the 2 holidays in between and just filed vacation leave for August 22, Friday.
That is why it is a long week-end for us π
We arrived Tagbilaran Airport around 9:30 am. Since maaga pa, hindi namin sinayang ang oras.
We went to different tourist spots around the area.
ang Tropang Lamon π |
Let me photoblog our itineraries that day:
At the SANDUGO or Blood Compact Shrine found in Tagbilaran City |
Then we dropped by Baclayon Church, because of the earthquake last year, this is how it looks like na:
I felt sad kasi sayang ang ganda pa naman ng church.
If you want to see the museum inside, entrance fee is P50.00
Next itinerary is Prony, the largest Python in Bohol. Entrance fee is P30.00
ayan si Prony, deads na kasi siya. ^_^ |
But they preserved the body, tama ba ang term ko? hehe…
Ang laki talaga niya. I did not go inside na kasi iba ang amoy. hehe…
They still have another Prony in the making. ^_^ |
This is Marimar, our tour guide inside the zoo Before we left she showed us her talent..:-D |
We then proceed to Loboc River, it is one top destinations in Bohol. We tried the Loboc River cruise,
it is a floating restaurant with Eat All you can buffet.
The whole river cruise including the buffet costs P370.00 per person (discounted price, alam na..hehe)
nice view right? Only in Loboc River |
They also have cultural show for the guests. Rylee was also dancing, she loved the show. hehe…
After that sumptuous lunch, well, I admit the food are ordinary lang, but nakakabusog pa din naman, hehe,
we then went to see the famous Tarsier. Entrance fee is P60.00.
Ang liit lang pala talaga niya. Sayang nga hindi pwede magpapicture. Pag na-stress daw kasi ang Tarsier, they will commit suicide. #ohmygee
Rylee the Tarsier…hahaha…so cute |
Before going to see the Chocolate hills, we passed by the Man-made forest in Bilar, Bohol.
another amazing view…Man-made forest |
This is one of my favorite tourist spot in Bohol, ang lamig kasi dito and sobrang peaceful.
Be careful lang sa picture taking kasi nasa highway talaga sya, hahaha….
check first if may dumadaan na kotse…:-D |
The last itinerary for the day is of course, Chocolate Hills..yummy…^_^
Entrance fee is P60.00 as well.
At long last, I’ve seen it “up close and personal”, hahaha, most of the time sa textbook or sa TV lang kita nakikita.
It’s really awesome., ang ganda talaga nya!
stairs going to the viewing deck… It’s really nakakapagod but it’s worth it. |
ganda….ng background…hahaha…:-D |
It is a tiring but super sulit day. We seldom visit Bohol. Actually it’s our first time.
Kaya super amaze kami sa lahat ng pinuntahan namin.
Despite what happened last year, the earthquake, nakabangon agad ang tourism nila.
Abangan ang Day 2 of our BOHOLIDAY!

Waah! I miss Bohol. I know that you can't touch tarsier but in our case, yung bantay pa naglagay sa kamay namin and sa shoulder nung nagpapicture kami. Sobrang liit noh! Like you, I feel happy pag nakikita ko yung mga tourist spot na sa book ko lang din nakikita. Sayang talaga yung church, buti may souvenir picture ako bago nasira. π
oh no! I didn't know Prony is gone na.. π Have you visited Bohol Bee Farm? I love their ice cream! π
Wow super ganda ng Bohol and super mura ng mga entrance ha? I would love to go to Bohol someday. More Bohol post!
Galing, buhay na buhay na kagad Tourism sa Bohol ulit. It's still sad that some infrastructure for damaged or gone already even before I get to see them.
It's been years since I went to Bohol, will never forget the experience. I feel quite lucky that I was able to see Baclayon in it's state before the earthquake. And I'll never forget the Loboc Rover floating restaurant, the food as I remember was so-so, but the trip down the river was really nice!
Ang saya naman mommy Lally. Inggit ako π We had plans to go to Bohol then but the earthquake happened π
I haven't ever been there yet. Mukhang maraming mapuntahan ah! Enjoy ba yung bagets? Hehe!
Oh my gosh, Prony is dead na pala! π Bohol is the first place we visited as a whole family. My daughter was just 2 then and my son was 5 months old. π It was right before the earthquake so we were able to see all these things–Baclayon Church, Prony, etc.–still intact and alive. I'm surprised that so much changed in a span of months.
The last time I went to Bohol was in 2012. How are the churches there? Sayang noh, most of them were destroyed by the earthquake. Anyway, hope you had a grand time. Keep the Bohol posts coming!
I haven't been to Bohol and this is next on our list! McKenzie is 4yo na so pwedeng pwede na talaga igala. π
Wow, you went to quite a number of places in just a day pa lang. Hindi naman kayo napagod ng sobra? Lol. But it was good that you were able to make the most of the long holiday. ^_^
I love Bohol! We went there a few years ago and really enjoyed it. Really such a shame about the ruined churches π And yes, nakakaawa yung mga tarsiers talaga pag hindi maganda pag-manage for tourists kasi they don't survive very long because of the stress, dapat talaga nasa gubat sila, in their natural habitat
We went there too in 2011 before the lindol that ruined the church! We didnt go to the man made forest though. I think maganda pa din naman ang bohol based on your pictures. I liked their beaches so much!! =)
Chocolate Hills trip is a must for every Pinoy no? blame it on our text books and the promise of chocolates! LOL
hindi ba nakakahili kumain sa Loboc River Cruise?
I've never been to Bohol but it's one destination that I really want to see, hopefully soon! Nice trivia about the Tarsier. I didn't know they commit suicide when they're stressed!
Wow, Bohol is simply beautiful! That snake is huge and scary!
Never went to bohol but my sister did and it was a remarkable experience for her π
coming up mommy Razel…:-D
yes sis..It's on our day 2..I super love their ice cream. π
waah, bakit sa inyo pwede ilagay sa kamay? hehe….ang hirap din umakyat sa Tarsier conservatory ha…
super enjoy din si Rylee, love nya ang mamasyal…:-D
di lang Baclayon Church ang nasira sis Rinabee, marami pa. yung iba nga as in total wreck..waah. sad nga eh. π
At least you see them all at their original state. But they are still tourist spots in Bohol despite the earthquake.
almost all churches were ruined by the earthquake. May isang church kaming pinuntahan as in bato bato na lang. Di kasi uso dati ang mga bakal at poste. π
you can always plan a trip going there, mommy Lani. Promise masaya sya…:-D
hindi naman po mommy Pehpot. Mabagal lang naman ang takbo ng bangka…:-D
I went to Bohol last year but our trip was so bitin! We were there for a wedding and overnight lang. We didn't get to go around and see the sights. We really must come back soon. Ka-inggit your photos!
Wow! Bohol!! One of my dream destination! π
Seemed you all enjoyed it! π
