Do you remember this post that went viral?

This was posted by Chef Jack, one of the owners of Quim’s Cake. Were you one of the bashers or followers on this trending post? Well, I have good news for you.
Quims Cake is staying true to their promise now that President Duterte sworn into office after a landslide victory.
In a Facebook post last May 10, Quim’s Cake finally announced that they will “stay true to our promise” by letting 50 people at a time sample their cakes every 1st and 15th of the month starting this July until 5M worth of cakes were given.

Last July 1, I was one of the invited bloggers who witness if they are really true to what they say. And they really are! ^_^

Here are the first  3 claimants of Quim’s chocolate moist cake. They gave 1 slice per person to cater to as many as possible. 1 slice costs P130.00. Imagine how many cakes they will give.  Do the math…^_^

Those who registered were given until 5pm to claim the free cakes. Unclaimed cakes were distributed to the less fortunate people around the area. What a nice gesture, right?

When we asked Chef Jack what did he learn from his post, he told us to “think before you click”. What you post on Social media can lead to bashing or becoming famous, but for them it’s a “blessing in disguise. ” More than their famous cake, they have unique and tasty dishes. I think that’s the reason why they are becoming popular resto in Quezon City. Mr. Anthony also mentioned that they will meet President Duterte soon. I hope I’ll be there too. hihi!
